One more time

Dillon called me last week tuesday as I was trying to get things in place so I could go to enrichment that night. He said that Chris from work had two Rockies season tickets she needed to give away because they couldn't use them. We of course took her up on the offer and I vowed I would make the next enrichment activity. It had been raining on and off all day and was pretty chilly outside. So I packed up as many things as possible to keep us warm. Then Elijah and I just waited for Dillon to make it home from work. We also packed food because we learned our lesson form last time. We decided that we wanted some hot chocolate so we stopped by the nearest 7 Eleven but of course they were out. We made it to the next 7 Eleven and yes they were also out, but instead I fixed the machine and in return we got our hot chocolate and candy for FREE! It pays off being assertive. And we were finally off. Once we got there we realized that Chris was not kidding about how great the seats were. We were just 12 rows up from home plate. It was AWESOME! A little cold and drizzly but all in all so great. Somehow in the rushing to get everything we needed packed, I sat Elijah's hat down and left it behind. I was stressng over him getting sick so I took him up the gift shop and bought him a cute little hat. Expensive but not as expensive as a doctor would be. We had a great time but left before the game ended. And of course we missed the most exciting parts of the game. Thats what happens when you have a little one that needs to be at home in his bed.
We are lucky to have so many great oppurtunities offered to us.
Thank you Ken and Chris! You are the best!

Bree I am so glad you guys are having a blast in Denver! Elijah is the cutest and I love him in his beanie- which I'm sure he'll get tons of use out of. Keep the fun updates coming!
