This past Sunday we took a drive. And when I say a drive it took us about 6 1/2 hours. But it was well worth it. We went up Hwy 285 and drove up to Como. Beverly, Dillon's co-worker, is always so good to give us ideas of places to go and things to see. We finally did one and are looking forward to all the other great places. This drive takes you through the mountains and you get to see all the trees changing and colorful. You first cross the Boreas Pass. There are thousands of trees up there and they were all gold with patches of the evergreens. So beautiful! Once we were through Como and on this little dirt road we were able to see amazing views and beautiful trees. This little dirt road took us through to Breckenridge. Breckenridge reminds me alot of Park City only a little bigger. There was a ton of traffic on the way home for some weird reason so we pulled off in Idaho Springs to give Elijah a break and stretching room. The river runs right by were we pulled off so we posed for some pictures. Elijah actually smiled. This is now my favorite picture! A great family picture that we took all on our own. Oh how I love those two guys!

Isn't it beautiful up there? I think we are heading that way for a hiking trip next weekend. That's awesome that Elijah was so well behaved in his carseat!
It IS beautiful there! Cade's Aunt and Uncle live in Denver and they took us up their for dinner about a year ago. I thought the same thing, that it looked a lot like Park City and I've always loved Park City. What a cute photo of you guys!
