Here she comes...

Well the day is finally here. Genesee decided to be stubborn and hold out through tons of false labor. Now we are going to be induced at 4. I have made some progress since last week. Tuesday I was about 80% effaced and 4cm dilated. My doctor thought I would go into labor that night. I thought I was, but all contractions and labor signs stopped at about 8:30pm. So here we are.

I am so excited the time has finally arrived, but I am getting a little nervous. I think that no matter what I would be nervous and have lots of anxiety so at least this is a little bit planned. Lij will be staying with Jace and Whitney(some good friends with a little boy,Jaxton, Lij's age) and that helps a ton to know he will be well taken care of. Now just to make sure he doesn't kill Jaxton during his stay. Its a love hate relationship between those two.

Wish us luck and your prayers are always welcomed and appreciated. I know nothing crazy will happen but it always helps to have that extra support for comfort and peace.

Also thanks for the camera offers...we gave in and bought one. We wanted to take time to find one but instead we got an opinion from my brother and got a pretty sweet camera. Just a step down from an SLR but a little more intense than a point and shoot. So far we really like it...now just to take some pictures of a cute little baby to see if we are sold!

You'll definitely be in my prayers Bree! I'm hoping for a quick labor for you, it's pretty awesome that you're already dialated to a 4 before being induced. Maybe my Cayla won't be too far behind Genesse, I just went in for my 37 week appt and dialated to a 2. I'm just glad I'm making some progress!! Good luck with everything. Love you!!
