Major booboo

sorry just a picture of me...elijah wasn't having the camera in his face

Oh man was this an experience. We were all just hanging out the Saturday we got back to Denver and everything was going great. Elijah was entertaining himself and we were able to unpack and get settled. Things were good. Well the little guy is infatuated with our tv stand with glass doors and he cannot just let it be. So he was playing with it like normal. He fell, which happens quite often at this point, and I didn't worry too much about it. And then the crying started. I ran over to him and picked him up to find a stream of blood running from his mouth. Those head wounds are crazy. I yelled for Dillon. It freaked Dillon out. By this piont I had the blood all over my shoulder like in the picture. We were stressed and gave him an otter pop which he happily sucked down. It just wouldn't stop bleeding. The night time was rough but we made it through and he slept pretty well. I stayed home from church the next day and he was doing better. But still hadn't stopped bleeding. It didn't stop bleeding until later that evening. Head wounds are gushers!
He is all healed up now and you wouldn't even know anything had happened. Since then we have upgraded to a flat screen that sits on top of our fireplace mantle
and have been really careful of the face hits.

You guys have been super busy! Glad to hear that you are getting settled in and that you are getting a break from all the stress. Poor little guy, hope that Elijah is all better now. I love the picture of him at your apartment in Rexburg!

OH sad! YEah, those head wounds are scary aren't they. Luckily we haven't run into any yet, but I'm sure they will come. Glad he's okay now!

Good luck in Denver. It's always good to have a change isn't it?! Take care!

Hey there!!! You moved back and then moved away again. Well, Welcome Back and Good Luck!! Can you believe how fast time flies with kids?? That lip blunder must have been scary, especially when the blood wouldn't stop. Enjoy Denver.
