We made it home! And then Genesee turned 8 months old! so here are a few pictures of her. Okay a lot of pictures of her.
At 8 months:
super close to crawling
can go from sitting to her stomach
still nursing but starting to get distracted easily
eats everything(including things she shouldn't)
says Dada(has been for a while now)
growls at you when you growl(has been doing this for a while now too)
has a deafening scream that she uses whenever she wants
hates her bows with a fiery passion
loves her momma but will take to dad just as easy
still laughs at her brother all the time
hates when her brother wrestles her though
plays mostly with trains or trucks but...
LOVES stuffed animals
LOVES her blankets
does not like to be left alone even for a second
becoming a pretty good sleeper but still wakes at least once a night
takes two naps a day
wears mostly 12 month clothes but some are still too big
starting to look more and more like Lij did at this age...but so girly
We love this little cutie face and all personality. She is so fun and getting so much more feisty as she gets older. I love to see the differences between her and Lij. He came programmed as a boy and her as a girl. They both love everything but lean more toward the gender specific toys everyday. Lij loves her as much as anyone else and he protects her a little too much sometimes! None the less though she still adores him and I really hope she continues to do so.
I LOVE this picture so much! She does take after me...hates picture time!
Sees someone walking in...dad...and she gave him the biggest smile
And for good measure...Lij playing in the water...Love this face!

Awwee....she's growing soo fast! Such a pretty baby too. Love that she doesn't like her bows anymore though! I was always jealous that she would keep them in at all EVER.
